Learn the techniques and principles behind throwing taller, stronger cylinders with greater control and less effort in this 2-hour live demonstration workshop.
Drawing from years of traditional training in Korea, Yoon Hee Kim demonstrates the core principles of Korean wheel throwing through a live demonstration. Throw along as we begin with a 10 inch (25 cm) cylinder, then gradually build the techniques needed to throw cylinders up to 20 inches (50 cm) tall. Learn practical techniques that can be applied to a wide range of tall wheel thrown forms, including Moon Jars. The workshop concludes with a live Q&A.
